1000 feet of power in Two Harbors

Recommended Posts

It was the twins birthday party today so no bog pics. When the kids went sliding I went on a photo shooting jaunt. We did have a Northern Hawk Owl fly by the house but I was too busy chowing and it was gone in a flash. When I got down to the break wall a 1000 foot was revving up and heading out with a full load of ore. All the pics were taken from the break wall.

Great Shots Jim, but your ship is A little shorter then 1000ft Great resource to look up lakers to.

BTW, my father worked on the ore boats in the early 50s for 3

years. Have some shots of him on the ships when they were

building the Mackinaw Bridge. He passed under it while they

built it.

Regards,

Jim

But 767' just doesn't sound the same grin Thanks for the link with the info on this ship.
