Shot for an hour today in horrible light-mostly just to try out the functionability of a new bag,but I did see some Eagles and a Woodpecker. I had to use spot metering on all of them-most were backlit. Take what you can get I guess. All images are cropped very deep-Eagles weren't too friendly and kept their distance.

Used the 1.4x Tele extender on all. 800 ISO-I just left the noise in 'em to save time PP'ing.

Had a nice flyby,but like an one-who-thinks-I-am-silly,I was chimpin and missed it-snap shot this one and almost knocked the hood off the lens. Would look better if I knew photoshop better!

MM those eagle shots are still very nice and very sharp. I like the pose on #4-My guess is you must have been fooling around and it grew tired of looking all regal and that kinda stuff

I agree with Jim, only I believe the eagle is looking at you thinking "Um, him not edible"

Them eagle shots are really sharp. The 5th is my fave.

That lil Downy is nice. White skies can definitely make for tough shooting.
