I know people used to joke about how he must have made a deal with the devil to look so good and always host the New Year's Eve show, but I couldn't help but feel a little sad for him seeing and hearing him now after he suffered that stroke in 2004. It's unfortunate, but what do you do, tell him he can't be on? The ratings indicate people won't watch unless he's on.

LOL I couldn't figure out who clark was by the title. That stroke was in '04? Wow, time flies, I thought maybe in '06. I felt bad for the guy too, this past year was really the first time I have seen him since the stroke. Doesn't he have a financial stake in that show too, like own the rights to it? You could tell he had the stroke, but in a way, that guy still doesn't age.

Rather have Clark than that one-who-thinks-I-am-silly Ryan Seacrest. He's famous for being the 5th wheel on American Idol- gimme a break.

You could see Clark has really spent alot of time and he was working so hard, I'd be surprised to see him do this more than a couple of years. They will continue to groom Seacrest for the spot. Time will tell if he can hold is own....
