1st attempt at birding..

Well i was trying a few things today just to get a grips on taking pictures of birds around my feeder's and lets say i have a lot to learn Oh well here is a little guy that posed for me today..Both were cropped amd enhanced slightly

Those are very nice. Birds are fast. It's hard to get them while they are sitting still. Good job.

Good looking shots and for your first attempt they are great. Something you might want to try is to attach some branches to your feeder so when they come to eat they will land on the branch before they get to the feeder. It will make your shots always look more natural and if you find a branch with something that is interesting it will make the shot that much better. Here is a before and after with some cropping from this weekend. I am by no means a expert but always willing to try and help. Notice the duct tape.

I was thinking the same thing while i was sitting there today... Im gonna do that tomorrow.. Weather permitting of coarse..
