Will this be a problem?

Tomorrow morning I'm going to put some doe estrus on wicks and hang them up around my stand. I don't have a grunt call or anything. Will this be a problem?

Shouldn't be a problem at all. It will be windy tomorrow though so they will dry out fast. You may want to use gel as that doesn't dry out as quickly.

pickup a grunt call they are pretty cheap. I would hate to say stop at the evil empire but a lot of walmarts are open 24hrs and have them. I picked up a primos for $15 and forgot it on my trip last week. stopped at a military surplus and picked a cheap one up for $9.

I see no need for a grunt call unless you want to call blind. The bucks will still come check out your scent if they catch a wif of it. This morning I had 3 small bucks walk right up to my scents. I didn't need to call to get them to come in.

If the rut is going on at all, those bucks will want to check out any other buck in the area, with a doe or not.

Putting out the wicks with doe estrus, buck grunting and doe calling will help.
