A R Johnson
I just got done watching the missing rings on the nfl channel about the 98 Minesota Vikings
zamboni
I still think Gary Anderson was paid really well to miss that field goal. Guy doesn't miss all season, then misses a 30 yard chip shot. Smells funny to me to this day
only ice
Dont blame Anderson!!How about sittig on the ball with all that time left, when you had scored the most points ever in a nfl season? Very Bad Coaching!!
zamboni
Dont blame Anderson!!How about sittig on the ball with all that time left, when you had scored the most points ever in a nfl season? Very Bad Coaching!! I will blame Anderson, that missed FG cost the game. Even if they didn't sit on it, who says they still would have scored? That FG was a chip shot, something Anderson had done about 1,000,000 times in his sleep
riverrat56
Have you ever missed a fish? Or a deer, pheasant, duck, goose ect.? Got in car accident?Made a mistake at work? All things you do a whole bunch and can still mess up on. Don't blame Anderson, and to think he was paid off, are you really serious? Teams lose games not individual players, the offense could have scored another TD and it wouldn't have been an issue, or the D could have stopped them 1 more time.... Gary Crichton
No kidding why to have to bring that game up. I WAS there. Still trying to forget that game and I am glad I got out of the stadium alive that day. A few disappointed fans for sure.G.C.
pinkfloyd4ever
The kneel down at the end of the half was killer, but then they got to conservative in the second half, I think regardless we would not have had a chance against Denver that year. zamboni
OK, so he wasn't paid off, but he missed it
zamboni
I think regardless we would not have had a chance against Denver that year. I actually disagree. The Falcons looked bad in the Super Bowl, but the Vikings were 10 times a better team than them, we just got beat in the NFC Championship game (by things already brought up). I think we could have handled the Broncos.
pinkfloyd4ever
I only say that because I thought I remember that 2 or 3 main defensive players were injured as part of the game, say Ed McDaniel, maybe John Randle and I thought a CB or safety too? That we would have been pretty banged up going into a superbowl
