chunky northern bass

Camped with the GF in the Ely area last weekend, weather was nasty and didn't do too much fishing but managed a couple nice bass one morning. 19.75 inches (mine) and 20 (hers)

How are the leaves coming, it doesn't look like it's peaked yet up there?

Leaves were nice, area where i was was mostly conifers though. Fish were caught on minnows, was trying for walleyes (gf likes to cook em up). Struck out on the eyes but hey, can't complain about bass like that.
