That would be me. Great site, great information. Been just poking around for a while, however the time has come to join, big comittment I know, but I am ready.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the welcome mat. Looking forward to the shop talk. Mjames, I live in Hastings, not too many lakes near here, so I fish lakes east metro, also hit the river and also venture into cheeseland, I like lakes that are way less pressured, maybe less fish, but always a better time. Also hit winnie and some other bigger name lakes. I just try to fish as much as possible while still trying to sustain a marriage!

I was out today actually, fished from 2-4 pm. caught about 50 sunnies, nonstop action all in 15-18ft on a orange flirty girty (my new favorite lure this winter) kept a couple for dinner. Drilled about 10 holes right away, then had to jump from hole to hole as the school seemed to meander to and fro. Stuck the transducer in the hole, nothing, move till I found them. I am always surprised how many people I see still drilling two holes 2 feet apart, sitting there for 2 hours, then telling me the fish aren't biting. Anyway.

Welcome to the forum,
Not to be fast but, are you coming to L.O.T.W. next weekend? Let's make this the big one of all.
Last bash for the year and the way the ice is going it may just be that. Its a great time for 10 bucks wheather you catch fish or not you can win some great prizes, have lunch and make some good friends.
