finnbay
I live on Spring Ridge Road, and true to it's name, many springs come from the hillsides into Birch Lake. Took a walk to one I like this afternoon: Kind of a tough shot to expose. Canon 40D with a 17-40mm. ISO 400 f/22 @ 1/2 second, tripod and remote shutter release. I was putting my camera bag together, and noticed a dragonfly sitting on a downed cedar not too far from me. He must have just emerged and was unwilling to fly for a few minutes, so allowed me some shots: And saw one delicate flower that I'm going to have to find the name of: Dragonfly and flower with a 100mm macro and various settings. Steve Foss
Ken, the dragonfly wing in particular is a fine artistic statement, IMO. Sweet!
