I just broke down and purchased one of these, does anyone know a good place to get it installed. I'd to it myself but I heard you have to place the transducer in the right spot.

I agree with you i would let some else install it so...i would contact Hummingbird and see if they have dealers. That way you know you are talking it to the right place.

I did my own installation, and had zero problems.

All of the information is in the instructions, just follow them.

Youll need a 3 amp fusible linnk, and make sure you get some Sparkle Glass cleaner, or windex with vinegar. Dont use anything with ammonia in it for the screen cleaner. Not that it will damage it or anything, its just beter to start with the right product to begin with. Trust me, on this one.

Mine was installed by Capras. They have always done a good job on my boats. Good Fishing!!

make sure you have someone install it that sell thems, reason i say that, is becuase if something goes wrong on it, more times then not, that place that installed it, will be able to get it replace for nothing.
