troyfideldy
Gill Net or Dynamite, sure thing when the bite is off. Just ask those who use them. They can put numbers of fish in the boat like nobodies business. Could have the great reds, cass, mile lacs and leech been beat by these devastating techniques? White spinner bait, sliver little cleo spoon or a rapala, get the votes for me. A jig with bait or plastic is hard to beat.
hoggs222
#9 Shad Rap and troll it. IMHO, it's the easiest way to fish.
Muddog
A putter! yes. a putter. If I had to fish with only one lure I would take all the money I save and buy a putter. Then I could use this screwball idea of one lure for fishing and apply it to the game of gulf. I know that this idea would work just as well in the game of gulf as it would fishing. So I would buy a putter and play a round of Gulf and see if this idea of one lure for all fishing is worth any thought at all (let alone the time it took to type this). So if I had to fish with only one lure, I wouldn't fish at all.
Steve Foss
Jig catches anything. A 1/8 oz jig with a twister tail is small enough for crappies and big enough for pike and musky.

RiverBassGuy
silver and black #9 original floater. Am I allowed to put a crimp weight a foot in front of the lure??
Nick Kuhn
1/2 ounce 5 o'diamonds spoon/daredevil. Still small enough that you can catch panfish (but big enough that you can only catch the larger panfish) and it will catch both kinds of bass, walleye, northern, and even a rare muskie. slipperybob
Special garge doctored double jointed rapala minnow #9 (or was it #7?). I can grub twister tail it. Tube skirt it. Double twister frog it. Snake (worm) rig it. Split shot, bottom peck style. Reversed spit/chug it. Wacked out tail spin wake it.sooo...I guess I've got more than one lure...though. Changing it's profile from small to big.
