Slithery snakes

You know its warming up when the reptiles are out! I have a hole in my yard that they hibernate in down by my pond. A few were out catching some rays but they all dove down the hole except for one. I also saw a few dragon flys buzzing around my pond and heard a frog. Spring might be here!

I am not a snake fan myself. I got less than a foot away from a garter snake in the morning on a cold rock to get shots last year with the 100 macro, and even though the thing was basically torpid and wouldn't move, I was not happy.

DeeDee, you definitely live in the right place for a snake lover.

LOL yea but I wont catch these snakes. They have a bit of a temper.

Sweet lookin snake!....Well,Maybe that's pushing it a tat but ....they are very nice captures!
