I was working Gander in Forest Lake this weekend(I had a few fishign seminars) some kid and his dad brought in the biggest turkey I have ever seen.. They weighed it at the store and it almost made 26 lbs and had a 10.5" beard and well over an inch spurs... Poor kid is ruined for life! It was his first bird.. I wish I would have had a camera!

My first turkey season 4 years ago I shot a 20 pound bird in full strut in the UP, then a 26 pound with an 11 inch beard in Houston County... ruined me for sure! But it sure did get me hooked \:\)
