Boogaard
I dont really see a down side to it as long as the limit remains the same. Hopefully it passes but i do have a feeling it will not.
MikeYager - Suzuki
Obviously biology has nothing to do with this regulation. Just greed. What's next? Special stamp to fully load your gun when hunting??

Nick Kuhn
Originally Posted By: Suzuki Obviously biology has nothing to do with this regulation. Just greed. What's next? Special stamp to fully load your gun when hunting?? It does a little bit. If you are holding rod A and a fish hits rod B, rod B will have a higher hooking mortality. Sure you could keep that fish, but what if it falls in a slot?I'll tell you from experience it really isn't as glorious as it sounds. The second line is often more of a hassle than it is a fish producer.
Farley
I fully load my gun when hunting. One shell in both barrels.
Wish-I-Were-Fishn
Unless I'm bobber fishing, or long line trolling I need to hold onto the rod for feeling the pick up. It would be nice to be able to use 2 lines while bobber fishing, but I don't think I would pay more to be able to do it. If I have to pay for extra lines, special stamps, or whatever, I could just sell the boat and fish at Trout-Air! At least I know I will catch something each time I go Come to think of it, I don't think they are around anymore. Looks like I'll still come home short of a limit
Bigfife
I would really like to see this go through for trolling. I troll a lot and its very easy to manage two lines per person. I would gladly pay the $5 and maybe a provision for only artificial baits.
Nick Kuhn
I've just saying I used to cast with one rod and then drag like a twister tail as I worked a weedline. The pole I dragged seemed to find every stump or stick in the lake. Had the drag been improperly set at any of these instances I'd have been out a rod. CatManLee
I am all for this, $5, $10 I don't care. In most instances it really won't matter much to me, but when trolling cranks by myself, it would be nice, or when fishing for catfish, sturgeon etc, it'll be nice. A line in a couple different depths/areas is nice.
hitthebricks
What would be the point of charging more if you want to fish with 2 lines. other states don't charge extra also CO's will love to have to check anglers just to be sure they paid the extra charge. Neighbor_guy
I could see it for slip bobber fishing, or bank fishing cats, carp, etc. It may even have its moments bass and pike fishing. With circle hooks and big shiners or sucker minnows, but I dont know if it should be $5 extra.
