Yea there were trucks driving all over the lake. Seemed to be good uniform ice all over. Unfortunately I won't be able to get out until Friday or Saturday but I will get out there. If ya see a atv pulling an atv trailer behind a arctic cat that would be me.

fished Big Round Saturday night and did pretty good right before dark about the last hour. Went back Sunday morning and tried every color possible with waxies, mousies, plastics even crappies nibbles and couldn't entice them to bite at all. marked fish everywhere but no biters.

Was out on Big Round from 1:30 to 3:30 yesterday afternoon. Went out from the road on the west side and out towards the middle. Moved around a lot in one area. Caught a lot of little perch so I packed it up and headed to Deer where I caught more perch but at least they were a little bigger. Do the sunfish and crappies typically bite right at dark at Big Round? Maybe I should have stuck around B.R. until then...and I would have if I would have at least caught something other than little perch. I know I've gotten into some dandy sunfish at B.R. before. vman59, were you out? thanks - FL SNIPER.

yea but not on BR was on another lake. The bite is usually better towards evening and you have to keep on the move and look for the groups of shack and people. Then start cutting holes around 50 yards from them, I found that all the ativity from the groups pushes the fish away from them and I find more aggressive fish. I have been getting them off the public landing there on the north end and down the lake to the right. if you hit the little perch move move move. last time out I moved half a dozen times until I found them and ended up with around 15 nice gills.

you can pretty much put the ice fishing stuff away. I wouldn't reccomend anyone venturing out onto any ice right now. I took a drive over various lakes and there is alot of black honey combed ice out there. A few panfish aren't worth anyones life.

this morning I went for yet another ride and there were a few people out on some lakes. I saw a few off out on Big round ,walking only is the ticket. They were off the Se shore. A few smaller lakes had a couple people on them here and there. avoid any north shore access's.
