gear ready?

was just getting my gear all togehter. was wondering if everyones gear is packed and ready for the lake. I know up north there fishing already but the lakes just froze over in the southern part of the state again. i just cant wait to get out on the ice. even if its only a tip up 20 yards out from the shore.

Yep! Got all the gear ready and waiting to go,and now that the moter for the hand auger has quit smoking, shouldn't have any problems punching holes when we get good ice.

Got all the gear together this week. Put the finishing touches on my ice house, and even snuck out on the ice for a bit to wet a line. Not really thick enough to call safe, but it satisfied me for a bit.

Reels are spooled (Thanks Yo-Zuri) Locker is stocked the auger is sharpened, all I have left is to patch my Carhartt (Thanks Carhartt for the material) yep all else is ready to go.

just bought a frabil xltwin..over my budget but at this point i dont really care i just have the bug wayyy too bad...i needed a new toy to give me something to do while waiting. Heading out to the garage to get it out of the box and see how everything looks in it hopefully i will find some ice to get out on REALLY soon!

Don't forget to give your vehicle the once over as well. I spent what was supposed to be a morning on the ice, fixing my truck instead. Little things that throw a wrench in the works.
