is this a rumor or fact that a red lake guide was caught photo copying shelter licenses?

Not familiar with the issue at all but interested in what benefit the act provides ?

Placement and coordinates ? or what does the info on the shelter tag support someone copying ?

Didn't really look @ the part off the tag that goes on my houses, does it reflect all the personal info along with DL #, birth date, address, like the top half does ?

its about not buying the amount of shelter tags for the amount of houses on the lake at a given time.

Like in my case with (3) houses that I leave out requiring a tag, I decide to "photo copy" that of others and try to apply to mine ?

Wow, if that's true it's pretty sad. Those licenses don't cost much and if you're a resort owner or guide they are a tax right off. You could post this in the Red Lake forum and see if anyone there knows for sure.

I thought I read that in cuffs and collars in OND or in the Tribune. He was photocoping the license so he wouldn't have to buy one for each of his houses he had out there.

It makes sense why someone would do it, but if you can afford 3 houses I see no reason you can't buy 3 tags.

Cuffs and Collars had a wright up about this, sounds like it was duplicate licenses from the article.

That sounds about right Jon he probably just payed 3 bucks for the duplicate license's, of course you can't do that legally!

I use to buy the duplicate License with my portables knowing I wouldn't being using both at the same time saved me the hassle of removing the tag each time.

And no its not illegal so save it!

The issue is unattended shelter license, with recent rule change. I've got two portables, but only one sign made. Then again, I've never left my portable unattended nor had to use two at once.
