joshb
can anyone tell me what "tourney limit" means?. it say's in the rules that after the tourney limit is filled for one specie of fish they won't record anymore of the same specie?. does that mean one limit for the whole tourney or one limit per person?. we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Rick Posted November 30, 2003 we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Share Posted November 30, 2003 Hi Josh,I highly recommend you go tohttp://IceLeaders.comGo to the Ice Series link. Read it and follow it. You question is answered in there. You can sign up for any ICE Series Event you would like to there as well.To make it easy, it is a one day tourney from 8-2. Each person may bring in the limit allowed for in the rules by 2 pm the day of the tourney. We currently plan to meet at the tourney headquarters at 7 am to head out to the on lake weigh-in area. Then everyone heads out from there at 8 am.So far I don't see any support for moving the meeting and start time ahead 1 hour to 8 am meet and start at 9 am. What do you think everyone? Jarrod32
I s'pose for most people it's quite a bit further, and is an easy decision to stay overnight. Probably not a lot of us in the 'in-between' range. No problem...I'll be able to work it in.
Guest
I like the "As is"...Meet At headquarters at 7 am. Start Contest on ice at 8 am.Guys & Gals, I know this is a early start and will mean a early & long starting out in the wee hours drive for some. But, I like the longer day and longer contest hours.Catch'nDave Hoggard------------------Fishermen are catch-n onCatch'n TackleFor Bass, Walleye, Pike, Lakers, Trout, PanfishUsed by FishingMN Family

can it be luck?
I agree with the early start. Just can't get enough of that fishing! I have a 6 hour drive, so I'll be there for the weekend. Probably jump up to Red and LOTW too. This should be a blast!! I'm looking forward to meeting and fishing with all of you. The more the merrier!! Guest
I agree with Dave it's early for some people but more time on the hard H2o is better. When is the good bite on each lake?Red seems the best late afternoon to early evening for the most part.I recall Milleacs doing good real early morning till about 10 am. But that was some time ago.As long as we all catch lots of fish anytime is good.------------------Don't worry you'll get the next one.
cluelessfisherman
Ok, I just want to make sure I understand this correctly. Is this an individual or team event? - Individual, but you may travel with a partner or group. Are trophys awarded at each individual event or saved up for championship? - They are awarded at each individual event. All the great fishing gear that is to be given away - is that spreadout over the 4 events or is that much donated for every event? - All the Great Fishing Gear is given away for EVERY Event Also I assume there are no cash przes awarded - just trophys? - Trophies and regular prizes are given out at EACH Event. No cash. This event is for fun, bragging rights and the chance to win any of thousands of dollars worth of Ice Fishing gear and prizes.Thanks.------------------Clueless - -[Note from Rick:Hey clueless, hope you don't mind, but they are good questions and I want to answer in the post right next to your questions][This message has been edited by Rick (edited 12-04-2003).]

Dennis Steele
One thing that I think everyone who attends will enjoy is that you will get to play around with some of the best products made for the ice fisherman. There will demonstrations and folks will get some "hands on" time with some of the products. There is no better way to reaserch a product your interested in than getting to play with it on the ice! And heck the chances of winning any one of the prizes is equal no matter what your level of skill on the ice is.Its going to be an awsome ice fishing series and experience! Guest
It's great to see new sponsors such as Jammin Jigs and Frabill. Thanks to both.Question is how does everyone get out on the Lake? Not all own 4 wheelers or sleds can these lakes be driven like Red and LOW?I have never fished Winnie in the winter and was wondering if they plow it from the resorts. Are we allowed to cover the entire lake or is there going to be boundries?------------------Crappie:It's the other white meat. we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Rick Posted December 9, 2003 we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Share Posted December 9, 2003 All the lakes have resorts that plow roads. You can fish the whole lake as long as you're back within six hours from take-off time.As a side note, we will be setting up on a likely fish catching spot for the weigh-ins and for anglers who just want to compete close by the weigh-in site. We'll have Pro Staff close by to help those out that stick close by. So this event will have something for every skill level of ice angler. Bring your significant other and bring the kids too. We'll have areas to warm up in and we'll have 40' to 60' of wind breaks set-up for you as well. It's designed to keep us at "The Leading Edge"The Events will be a blast.Click here for more infoorCLICK HERE to sign-upIt's only $10 for early sign-up (Tailgate party included - fish-fry and brats served).
