mjhowe
Well, after three days with the high below freezing, we have about 1.5" of ice on my local lake. And with temps forecast to stay below freezing for the next week, it looks like I can be on ice by the middle of next week. Perch and pike, perch and pike, perch and pike, perch and pike!! I will post as soon as it happens!! ------------------MikeKalispell, MT<<><<"LOOK ALIVE, MAGGOT!"(Not you Pal, I was talking to my bait)

Guest
I know I saw thin ice all almost all the area lakes and sloughs in the Spicer area. I think only lake that didnt have ice on it was Green Lake. On Nest lake one of the bays had a 1/4 inch of ice on it and most of didnt melt today! Not long at all, until ice.------------------Fish ON!
