Anyhow, it'll be interesting to see what NASCAR does, but it does "appear" anyhow that Dale Jr. had no idea about the illegal changes. He did look seriously pis*** 'err, I mean mad. bassNspear
do you really think its cheating, or just pushing it over the edge?
LMITOUT
All depends on your POV.NASCAR claims this was a blatant attempt to gain an advantage, and wasn't merely a mistake as in Robbie Gordon's case.
harvey lee
Depends on the violations.
muc33
I believe in total, 10 different teams ranging from the Sprint to Nationwide even the trucks were penalized in various ways. I think with the Car of Today, we are going to continue to see this for a while, as some have said, the thinest line is what can sometimes make the difference. Just look at what a pound of air can do in a tire. Guys, no matter who, with these new cars, teams are all going to push the envelope to find the limits and get the edge. bassNspear
this sport is very interesting, and its a sport that is getting bigger and bigger every year. I dont think the drives and teams are going to want to be like the clemens of baseball, and throw it all away. Just my .

L_Cappo
its pushing it over the edge more than it is cheating.
metrojoe
I like the fact that it's only called cheating when it's not your favorite driver/team. I tend to agree with mnhunter. All teams are looking for an edge and with this new car there certainly has to be some "gray areas". Sometimes it's better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission. Never know, they might stumble across something.
