What does your wheel fishhouse weigh?

I just had my 7 x 16 weighed at a truck stop. It came in at 3240#

This is a camper that has been converted. So I was wondering where this compares to the manufactured houses.

on my purchase order for an 8*20 they list it as #5140 with tandems.

That is the weight of the finished house.

The trailer itself has 2 sets of torsion spindles, each rated for #5200, so total load rating of #10400.

approx. how much ice do you prefer to have before leaving it out there?

My 6 1/2 x 12' weighs 1,520 lbs when empty.

my 8X19 single axle, full 2X3 tube frame and alum. siding comes in at 3780lbs.

Just for comparison, my 21-foot hybrid camper has a dry weight of about 4,000 lbs.

If this was directed at me...I am just purchasing it and will only be picking it up next week, so i never had one on the ice yet. But with it being the weight of a truck, i would imagine that I wouldn't take it out (even with a wheeler)in anything under 10" maybe even 12.

My 6 1/2 X 17 V-nose comes in at around 2700 empty. But that's also including the 2 110lb batteries, so without them, it's around 2500lbs.

It sports vinyl siding over 1 1/2" walls, RV vented furnace, front closet, dinnet, bunk, futon and 4 large double pain windows.

The trailer's made from 2x3 1/8" steel tube, single axle.
