Question: Looking at the Honda Generator and trying to decided between the 1000 and 2000. Has anybody had experience with these generators. Using primarily for Ice Fishing. Appreciate input.

I had the 1000 and found in my fish house I was often limited. I then bought the 2000 and it is much better. The only time I have issues is when I go to my hunting shack and need to run the well. Then I have a 3500 Watt. The 2000 watt is sure nice from the weight stand point.

Think about what else you'd use it for other than ice fishing. For me, the 2000 would allow me to continue running my sump pump and freezer during a summer time power outage. The 1000 would barely keep a freezer running, no chance on the sump pump. It will cost you about $300 more but well worth it.
