Entering the Lowlands

Still going through and re-PP some of my Albany River pix. About halfway through the trip, you leave the Shield and enter the lowlands. This was our first day after the transition:

Spectacular! I am really drawn to scenes with a near object that gives perspective - I'm sure there's a professional term for that kind of composition - I just know I like it!

Beautiful image Ken!...I know the feeling of gliding on those mirror smooth lake waters in a canoe....it's my passion!...other than photography I guess!...and combining the two...time to reflect and enjoy what nature provides us...can hardly wait for open water!

Thanks Steve, and everyone else as well. For me a photo must do one of two things - either be an accurate representation of a place, event or subject, or it should evoke some emotion in the viewer. Feedback like this let's me know that on occasion I can accomplish that. Thanks again!
