Flaco651
Never been a fan of catching sheepies during open water, but caught them through the ice yesterday and it was a blast! Was out targeting gills and crappies and would occasionally catch a sheepshead. After catching numerous bluegills and crappies, all I was hoping to catch were sheepies. They ranged from about 1-4 lbs and could really battle on light equipment. Anyone ever target 'em for fun during hardwater?

DEADhead
If I could find a good spot for them through the ice, somewhat close by, I would definitely be on it.
Bassman55
On the Red River in Wahpeton/Breckenridge I have caught a few, not recently though. During the day before the walleyes come in you can have lots of fun with those and goldeneyes though.
