sale on flashers

Has anyone ever seen flashers go on sale near the end of the ice fishing season? It seems as though everything else having to do with ice fishing is discounted with the exception of flashers.

I saw vex's on sale a couple of years ago at GM but I heard that they are not ever supposed to discount them.

The two Ganders in Madison, WI are closing to consolidate into one mega store just like what happened in the twin cities a few years back. If i remember correctly they had flashers and they were on sale.

I just baught one at Thorne Bros fridley, i baught the 18 model vexilar pro packII regularly 418.99 marked down to 390.00. They had limited left terry said once there gone there gone. I would recommend calling them. they also carry marcum and other flashers.

The vex genz boxes were on sale last week at Fleet farm. Yes the vexes do go on sale but not for very long. Fleet farm's Ice fishing inventory clearance was last week and Reed's is still going on but no flashers are on sale.

A lot of places the LX-5's are out of stock and the LX-3tc's. I know the lx-5 is out of stock at Thorne right now

I got the MarCum LX2 on sale at Cabelas for $229, but it is a discontinued unit. Thing is they can be rigged to use in a boat, so there really is no "end of season" on them

I would search around and find a sale price on a unit... some places will meet or beat the price.. When i picked up my LX-3,, I found marine general in duluth had the best price on the internet.. I stopped in to check and see if Thorne Bros had a decent price also ,, spoke with the salesman ,, told him that I was debating on if I should pay the higher price they had or wait till I got up to duluth and get it on sale there.. He asked me what the price was and went to the back ( maybe checking to see if i was blowing smoke) and offered it to me for the same price tax inculded, .. All i said was sold ,, .. never hurts to ask if someone will meet another shops price..

Thorne Bros is great about that on anything they sell. A great Store and agreat bunch of people that work there.

i picked up a marcum vx-1 on sale at fleetfarm in rochester on saterday, $229, usually $250

I just picked up an LX-3tc at cabelas in east grand forks on saturday for 339. they had quite a few left. also had the lx5s. I just can;t wait to get out and use it now...
