buzzsaw
A few images from a four day photo getaway I took about a week ago. Oceanside Beach at Sunset. Childrens beach in La Jolla. (more like seal beach) Balboa Theatre at night. La Jolla Palm trees at sunset (Ocean in BG) Wipeout Beach in La Jolla. Mission Beach Roller coaster (Pano) US Grant Bldg in DT san Diego (Nikkor fisheye) Ringneck Drake at Santee Lakes. Greater Scaup at Mission Bay. Another Ringneck Duck. La Jolla Brown Pelicans on the surf. Thats all for now, I still have so many images to go through... just too busy right now to get to them all. Thanks for looking. WifeKidsandDog
Wow, stunning shots. The second shot and the pelicans particularly impress me, really fantastic.
Steve Foss
Excellent work, Mike. Both the slow shutter speed shots and the BIF images are top notch.
finnbay
Love 'em. The ringnecks are fantastic, and I really like the palms overhanging the sunset!
Dbl
You know the shot you have with the cutoff wing on the pelican against the crashing surf, I would post that along with these gems!

polarsusd81
Amazing shots Buzz. Everytime you post photos my jaw nearly drops to the floor. Thanks for sharing, nice to think of warm places especially when we have another cold front moving in.Tom
dockothebay
Spectacular! I can practically smell the ocean and feel the sand in those sunsets - Thanks for sharing your work -
buzzsaw
You guys are kind! Thanks for the nice words. here is the shot Dan is referring to... I'm a critic of my own work and was bummed I clipped the lower wing, but I loved the BG surf. I forgot these guys. A Redhead I could have practically touched. Paul
Mike, I really like the fish eye shot. I have been toying with the idea for buying a fish eye. Do you have any other fish eye shots you could show me?
Dbl
Thats the shot Mike, still even with the clipped wing I love that background.
buzzsaw
Paul, I borrowed the fisheye lens and the only other one I think I got was of the roller coaster at night. Thanks, Dan!
buzzsaw
One more of Shelter Island area with the sailboats and San Diego skyline behind the boats. I used the Scott Kelby ACR black & white conversion to try and make it pop a bit.... One more silhouette from Ellen Scripps park in La Jolla.
