yup!

We experimented last year with using any team name that you wished. This made it really hard for everyone, including myself, to keep track of what member was what team. This year Sifty and I agreed that FM names should be at least part of the team name to make it easier for everyone to follow along.

Thanks Bass!!

do you have a set of rules on how this works?

Basically we let yahoo do the work.

One of the problems that some rookies have is activating drivers in your a,b, and c groups. After you have selected 2 drivers in group a, 4 drivers in group b, and 2 drivers in group c you need to activate 1 driver in group a, 2 drivers in group c, and 1 driver in group c. The active drivers are the ones that will receive the points in the race. All of the selected drivers will receive points for qualifying. So for each group you ideally want to select drivers that will qualify well and drivers that will race well.

You can only use drivers for 9 races max. After you have used a driver for the max amount of races that driver will no longer receive points whether they are active or in your group or not.

lastly the SR. and rookie groups will be combined and an overall ranking will be posted by myself after each race. Each week we congratulate a weekly winner(s) that has accrued the most points for that week. At the end of the season we will crown our points champion.

Thats about it. hope that helps mnhunter!

I understand there that a driver can only be active for 9 races, Is there a maximum amount of races that they can be in your team group? Do the inactive drivers in your group recieve bounus points for the race and the qualifying? Thanks

you can leave a maxed out driver in your group for the whole year if you want but they will not receive any points for qualifying or racing.

You can have an inactive driver in a group for the whole year and collect point for qualifying for that driver for the whole year.

Drivers that are not active only receive points for qualifying. Active drivers are the only ones that receive points for racing and qualifying.

sorry, should have put a reply here when I registered. I was in the first year as the Weekend Wreckers. Now I am a nascar freak. follow it very close. last year got into a money league and sort of forgot this onesleep.gif

Anyone intersted in starting a seperate maybe smaller league for like $20 to $40 a head? I think it makes it a little more interesting and keeps the guys active turning drivers in on time for that weeks race. I wouldnt usually do it with people I dont know personally but I think I can trust the guys that are on here, everyone I've ever met has been great, and wouldnt have a problem mailing a few bucks out, especially to someone like Airjer, I remember how well he ran things and had the results from that weeks race posted very fast. Anyhow I really enjoyed the first year with you guys and look forward to this year.

I think we should not go to the gambling end of it online here. I realize it may be fun but it could end up upsetting some members. I'm afraid that even if it were fun, we could end up with issues that we really dont care to deal with.
