ocf1
It was, you just had to look at the actual bait, it wasnt on the front page any more, I got the last 4 Pure poisons too. Has anyone used those warmouth line though baits yet?

NCLaker
Lots of hype on the Berkley Hollow Belly's pre-season '08. Any reports on how well they worked this past summer? Were there specific situations that they worked best?I debated buying some, but couldn't justify the high cost.
Central Bassman
The Hollow Belly's were a good bait this year for me, did really good with them in the spring and early fall but couldnt buy a bight in the hot summer mouths. Caught a few good size pike on them as well. The Smallies up in Canada just loved them!!!
ocf1
Thats good to hear about their success. Did you ever try skipping them under docks at all?
TurnUpTheFishing
I mostly used the money minnows and didnt do well early in the year and was ready to give up on them but figured Id give them a full season use. As the year actually went on I started doing quiet well with them and got some confidence in them. Most the fish I caught on them were 3lbs+ and had a few runnings with 'skis on them, too. This season I might get a smaller version for early in the season. Also, If you do try them I recommend NOT using the screw on style hooks. You'll get more use out of each bait with a weighted widegap worm hook that is matched to your bait size.
Central Bassman
Thats good to hear about their success. Did you ever try skipping them under docks at all? OH YES, But not offen, Just when i knew there were bigger fish holding under docks. What really helped with the HB is that when it falls it gives off so much vibration and that help trigger more bites.
Doufish2
I am a big fan of paddletail worms. Producto 8" in motor oil is deadly around pads. Hook it with no weight, flip it over the top of pads, drives the big ones nuts!!
Central Bassman
I haven't been able to find a worm in the motor oil color for a few years, I will have to do some looking around again.
