Got out to the local watering hole today to shoot some more waterfowl. The weapon of choice was the Canon 30D and Canon 100-400mm.

I believe that's a good weapon of choice. Those are some beauties. I especially like the honker. I have yet to attempt a bif with my 30D.

Good to see you took advantage of some sunshine for a change. We had about 3 hours of sun in the last 4 weeks around here.

We had nice weak sun most of the day but I decided to go fishing instead (should have gone shooting, considering it was nothing but dinks).

Glad to see you found some willing waterfowl, WCS. I like 'em all, and that hen looks like the picture of contentment, if you'll pardon the pun.

As always very nice photos. I like the goose the best. Man, that exposure is perfect. The white cheek patch is really bright but still has all of it's detail. I like it!
