hanson
Quote:Clean your carbs. Most definitely!Continuing to run your sled like this to "clear" out the problem is going to result in a full top end rebuild. If you need help with the carb cleaning, just ask and we should be able to talk you through it step by step. 2thepointsetters
Quote:Clean your carbs. yes and pay close attention to the pilots, it doesn't take much to plug them. You can tell if your pilots are dirty sometimes, if your sled is warmed up and still will not idle but if you put your choke on it kind of idles then your pilots are probably plugged. vister
if your sled runs fine at heavy throttle, but hesitates out of the hole and has trouble at idle, clean your pilots. but also clean your air box too. the reason gunk got to your pilots means its probably piled up in the airbox.
