Perch and Sunnies around Iron River

I am wondering if anyone has any lakes around the ironriver area that might be good for perch or sunnies. I am thinking of meeting my cousin half way(iron river) to fish tomorrow. any help will be really appreciated.

grab an atlas and hit some pot holes in the area. cheffrey and myself went and hit a bunch of lakes we had never fished before in the area and found fish in each lake we hit. there are a ton of lakes in that area and i'm sure you'll be able to find a few. guys are pretty tight lipped when it comes to the lakes in that area.

Hey man... Look to the Pike Lake Chain for some decent perch, not huge jumbos, but fairly decent sized perch in the 10 inch range.. Twin Bear is usually the best for these critters in the 20 to 25FOW range, breakline to basin type stuff.

Then Eagle or Busky bay has some good pannie action, in the weeds or on the weedlines. These two lakes are pretty much a weedbowl, so finding the edge and the weeds arent too hard. Usually from 15FOW out to 20FOW.

Delta lake is also a good one for panfish...

I will second what Jim says, the pike chain is a great resource, especially if you want to set a few tip ups while you search. The clarity on those lakes is unbeleivable so sight fishing in 15-20 FOW can be really good on the weed edges.

Unfortunately many of the better lakes are pretty much private now, unless you know someone.

Theres plenty of good panfish lakes that arnt private, just have to get out and look for them.
