Lighing a Portable

I picked up one of the little round LED lights by HT at Fleet Farm yesterday. I think it was $8. Runs on 4AAs has 3 settings and lights my Voyager very well on medium.

Great purchase. No wires to run. Just hang the light from the top and go. It even stays there nicely when folded up.

I recently purchased some led lights that run on 3 AAA and velcro on to your house. I bought two of them and the total was like $20 or so. They put out nice light in a two-man portable.

Got them from an on-line ice fishing place. Google and you will find it. I think they are in MN and they shipped very fast.

I have the rope lights as well, but that way I am double covered if I forget my battery. Done that before.

Hey Ferney!

Yes, I was on a mission, had to check out a lot of show in a short time! cool.gif

I guess I should have explained my lighting a bit more...

I use a motorcycle battery for lighting, and use the 9Ah battery for the vex. I use rope lighting for my "main" lighting, but when you have to see to tie a hook or land the wall mounter (still waiting for that one...) I can turn on the halogen for a short period. Thanks for the Amp hour primer! I usually use a deep cycle in my permanant on Mille Lacs that lasts me a couple days...this is my first year using any lighting in the portable besides a lantern, still learnin' here.
