This was taken after last light at Cathedral Rock in Sedona.

Number two is a great shot, hard to beat a calm water reflection and those great red colors. That sun gets low fast in those cayons. Thanks for the post.

I like the first one best. Sometimes it's nice to have something old, rustic but manmade in a landsape shot to give it scale and a different meaning.

I usually head to Utah for a week in April. Gotta love the desert. It's a definite change in scenery from Minnesota.

Both are great shots Mike but if I had to pick one it would be #2.I was just reading my Outdoor News and noticed that Stan Tekiela was also in Arizona. Did you make the trip together or is it the time of the year to get there fall scenery ?

I didn't realize he was there! DANG!! I just hooked up with him at the MN Wildlife Connection a short while ago and we have plans to chase Eagles this winter. He's a good guy.

Its to bad you didn't get a chance to see him but I am sure he was like you trying to cram to much into a 24 hour day. Too many sites and not enough time
