harvey lee
We were going to go with the modified but the pay isnt that great and with the IMCA rules and no claim, many huge flat tappet motors will be there. We dont run any motors that big so we would really be underpowered.
Eric Wettschreck
I wanna go, I wanna go, I wanna go, but I can't. Demo derby, fire dept, furnace to install, and a few other commitments will keep me too busy.

Eric Wettschreck
Just in case I make it, what's your camper look like?
PerchPounder
not sure if im going yet after the performance i seen there last week i cant imagine it would be much better this week nationals or not. i seen the ascs sprints last night in hartford where they put on a pretty good show and knowing theyll draw some pretty good cars may be enough to get me over there. i might stick to friday at slaytona and sunday at worthington and keep my sights set on the Fall Jamboree 9/7 and 9/8. WHATEVER Tom What happened to the line, "it's all in the handling" Clint should go , he really has that car working good this year
harvey lee
I agree Brian that much of it is in the handling but when one is short much hp, the handling wont overcome that. Yes, the car has been great this year.
reddog
Quote:Just in case I make it, what's your camper look like? Theres a group of campers just south of turn four, you wont miss us. stop in.Long night at the races tonight.7-12:15 am. 1CC Clayton Christenson won the mods, followed by the 16C of Reese Coffee, then the 22 car (unsure who it was) I belive Mike Steensma was hard charger, started 18th, up to 8th, flat RR, started scratch again, and finished about 7th or 8th.Donovan Peterson won the Non wing sprint class. Cant remember the stock car winners.Perch jerker. I attend Jackson eash week, except for when I'm at Knoxville, which was last week. The heavy track has made for lots of freight train style races the last few weeks. Bring on the sprint cars.
harvey lee
Jeff Ignaszewski(22)took third but was DQed for coming across the scales light which then gave third to Dwaine Hanson from Lakefield,Mn.
Longline
Why didn't Eric Dailey finish last night? Just curious if he tore up the car. He is leading in points in Fairmont but not by much.
reddog
Not sure what happened. He had a good race going, starting dead last and had run half way thru the pack early in the race. The race went yellow for something and when it restarted, he was no longer in the field. Looked to be a top 2 or 3 car for sure.I'm not a mod fan, per se, but do support any race I can, but when did the 1CC get so fast.If I remember correctly, he also won the Harris Clash at Knoxville this year
harvey lee
Anyone see what happened to #20 Chris graf from Glencoe in his sprint car.
PerchPounder
The 31 of Trent Schroeder won the stock cars and the 31L of Justin Luinenburg was third I don't remember who was 2nd. Six wins straight for the 31 would have liked to see him actually win the nationals but I guess this will have to do until next year. Saturday's full payout will be paid to Thursday's winners and qualifiers. I guess five inches of rain was a little too much for the track.
reddog
Quote:Anyone see what happened to #20 Chris graf from Glencoe in his sprint car. Chris was involved in a 6 car pile up at the drop of the green for the 360 A main.ALso involved were the 75C of Casey Heser, 05 of Bill Boles.92 of Mike Sitzmann Jr, 20G of Graf 87 of Curt Lund, and the 4J of Lee Grosz. Grosz, Lund and Boles were able to continue after Graf was extricated from his car.He was taken to Jackson Hospital for a checkout and then transferred to Fairmont for further testing, is what I have heard to date.As far as how it happened, it appeared that Boles may have buzzed his tires on the start, checked up slightly and got sideways on the start when there was contact from behind, With it being only yards into the start, the rest had little room to try to avoid Boles, who tipped over first.
