First Grouse.........with a Camera.

Spotted a Ruffed Grouse along the road Sunday, thought I would try to get a shot, he jumped in the brush and I lost him, but when I started in the woods about 10-12 flushed and this young one landed in a tree 30 yards away. Cloudy day, dark in the woods, but I got off a few "shots" before he took off too.

Ahhhhh grouse. Nice shot. It sounds like it should be a good year for these tasty birdies. I can't wait.
