hanson
I'd like to add another somewhat local area to catch a giant to the list- Red River of the North (Winnipeg). Hook up with Stu McKay of Cat's on the Red and you'll have a very, very good shot at one of those beautiful 10-14lb Greenback Walleyes that live up there. Or wait and try it through the ice! Another option would be Big & Little Bays de Noc (Lake Michigan), and I also like the Fox River mentioned earlier as well. We really have a lot of options close to home here, ya just have to stop fishing the lakes. Mille Lacs might just be last on my list for something over 30", but first for something between 26-28". Chad Halvorson
Quote:I think the guy's messed in the head and looking for a little publicity. The people I know that fish a lot can tell the difference between an 18" walleye and a 19" walleye. Granted, we catch a lot more 18" and 19" walleyes but who can't tell the difference between 11.5# and 25#. Which of these vehicles is bigger, the Suburban or the Volkswagon? HMMMM, can I think about it for a minute? Bingo, we have a winner.
Team Otter
If I don't get out there this spring, it will definitely be next spring.

Jim Hudson
Dont know if these places have been listed, but besides the well known Columbia River... I would have to lean towards Tobin Lake Saskatchewan or the Bay of Quinte on Lake Ontario.. You can definately strike it rich in these places for sure!!! Team Otter
That 29.5" I released last fall has to be at least 30" this year.
