Fine, I finally admit it!

I fought it for a long time, but I have to admit that I'm finally getting pumped up for ice fishing. A few more weeks and we should be able to give it a go around here.

I'm with you on this one... As much as I like driving my Triton around, and as much as I love to bass fish, I do enjoy ice fishing.. but come mid feb, I'll be ready for open water again..

I'm ready now.... bring on the ice!

Yeah...I, too, had to finally give in. I had resisted puting the boat away for the winter, but finally did it this past weekend. The boat is in the back of the garage, all winterized, and the ice fishing gear (and, yes, the snowblower, too) have been moved to the front.

Going by the increased amount of posts on the icefishing page, I think we're all giving in---well I gave in 2 months ago.

Well I too reluctantly put the boat up for the winter. Real hard to do(I kept hoping for the big warm up). But now that the denial is over, I am getting in the groove for some hardwater fishing. Been out drooling over the displays for the portables and picking out some new icefishing jig and such.

Now we just need some good ice. I can't wait for URL and LOW to get some good ice The little puddle just a few blocks from here is frozen over and if things continue will probably be fishable in a week or so.
