I found some more showy ladslippers, this time much closer to Ely (not far out the Fernberg, actually, though the walk in was a toughie). But of course there were so many other things to photograph.

I like nubmer one but if I had to pick the best tasting one I would have to say number 2. Great Shots. Were you using your 100mm macro on these? I am really contemplating buying a similar lense.

Paul, the bird shots were with the 100-400L IS. The others were with the 100 macro. That 100 macro is one sharp son of a buck.

#1 is truly grand. I like the choice of blueberry... capturing the progression to ripeness. Also the peeking warbler was a great moment to capture. Thanks Steve.

I love them all but I agree about the first two images. I love the blueberry pick including the dew. Awesome work Steve!
