It ain't all bad. I just came home yesterday from a 12 day fishing trip with my wife of 35 years and 4 1/2 year old grandson. The bad part is that she usually outfishes me. There are some good ones out there.

Coots, many moons ago I got dumped by a girl I thought I was made for. I was bummed, to say the least. But now, nearly 20 years later, my wife is waaaay better than the other one would ever be. My wife talked me into getting a new motorcycle, getting a new boat, getting my truck (new then, but 10 years old now), hunts with me (sometimes), fishes with me (not as much as when we were dating though, ha!), and we just work perfectly together.

So go have some beers (but stay away from the keys when you do!) and complain about how it went down, and talk big with your buds and go fishing a lot. Then you will start to hit the market again, so to speak But usually I have found that when you are least interested in finding anything, that is when you get the most bites

Good luck! You will look back at this time as a liberating time! Trust me.

Maybe in addition to the "Talk with Dr. Coot" forum we could have a personals section as well....heck, I could even moderate it! Now wouldn't that be cute. I can see my ad now:
