Enclosed trailer for wheelhouse ?

Anyone have any experience with this. I want a wheelhouse for this winter but I need a trailer for other stuff too. I cant afford both and wondered why not just get an enclosed trailer and cut some holes in the floor, put something like pvc pipe for sleeves in when on the ice to keep wind out. Would be for mainly day trips so I dont need all the other stuff. The only problem I can think of without looking at one is the frame and where I could cut the holes?

I have an enclosed trailer and thought about doing it, but my trailer has the tires under the trailer which makes it sit rather high, I would have to design a different axle assembely that pivots. Another problem was that the walls arent insulated very well. It would work if I needed it to the way it is, but it wouldnt be very ideal.

If your enclosed trailer had wheels on the side of the trailer, it would sit lower than mine, so that would be a better option. The floor in mine sits about 2 ft off the ground.

Some of the drop-down wheeled fish houses have the end doors for loading a 4-wheeler into it. Maybe this style would work for you. Just make sure the axel is strong.

There is also a company out of Iowa that sells enclosed trailers that drop down on the ice. They seemed to be pretty good on the price as well. It's an enclosed trailer with a bunk in the front.

Jay Soderbloom makes a drop down trailer and you can finish it off as you please. I'll bet he'd customize the trailer to your load requirements.
