Tom Linderholm
Ohhh there are so many! Anything with Morels in it is my fave. I like to saute in butter and garlic with fresh asparagus, ramps, and swiss chard. Kind of a medley of spring.Makes a great side to a steak with some good old mash taters. harvey lee
Either sauted in butter with a touch of garlic or egg, crushed saltine crackers and then dip morel into the egg and roll in cracker crumb and fry until golden brown.

blue_healer_guy
Has anyone had any success with vacuum sealed morels to keep them somewhat fresh. Packed a bunch today unwashed. CRAKSHOT
I like mine dusted with flour, and pan fried in half butter, and half veg. oil. Most every body around here, likes the egg and cracker crumb method,i myself think it detracts from the taste. My bro in-law likes them creamed with asparagus on toast.Tenderized round steak, and morel gravy aint too hard to take either. icehousebob
This morning, I chopped some up and fried them in butter with some slivered onions. Then I scrambled in some eggs and topped the finished product with mild Chedder cheese. Breakfast of champions.

harvey lee
I just got done looking for a hour plus in my best locations where I usually find them the easliest. I still believe that one can find a few but the maqin picking season is still a week or better away. The ground cover is just starting to come and most trees have not blossomed. I have not seen any Lilacs that have blossomed either.
