MARINERMAGNUM
I try to take my 5 year old daughter out every night on a little hike, geocache, whatever. Just outdoors. These are just some images of what we saw tonight. Pretty much the same birds, same location. She insisted i post them, for good reason. She was complaining that i never let her handle the "real cameras" so i handed her the Rebel XT,she waited, and the phoebe landed. I helped her twist the zoom in,and she shot it! It was way out there, but i was proud, and so was she. Now the trouble started! She said,"From now on,why don't you just use the black camera [30d] and i'll just use this silver one [Rebel XT] uh oh her phoebe-300mm @1000 thrush-300mm @800 This Kinglet was suckkin sap! Jim Almquist
MM it is at least a hobby you both can share and she seems to have a pretty good eye. Until she gets a little older you might want to get some Body Armour for Canon
Steve Foss
MM, great story. I see she already can find the target, hold steady and shoot. I think you've got a little competition right in your own home.
