Bear aging notification from DNR

Hey guys, this was my first year bear hunting. I was just wondering how long it takes the DNR to get back to you on the age of the bear from the teeth I submitted?

Mid Summer towards fall. Last one I got WAS 12 and one half yrs old.

I seem to remember always getting mine in middle of July. It is really neat to find out how old the bear you took from the previous was. I have taken 3 bears a 12.5, and 10.5 year old, and am waiting on this past years which was the biggest out of all them. My mount was just finished so it will be at the MN Deer Classic, im excited!

What was the weight on those 12.5 yr old bears? Sows or boars?

The bear that was 12.5 years old weighed 367lbs. dressed. My 10.5 year old weighed 305lb. dressed. The bear I shot this year was the biggest shot with a bow in the county we hunt. Our scale stops at 375 and bottomed it out.

mine was a sow ,370 lbs. bow kill 15 yds. skull 17.7/8 in.

my son shot a sow year,(year before same stand )386 lbs,8yds bow kill. skull 18.7/8 in. 16 yrs old. her teeth were bad and two toes missing.

Well I got my notification today in the mail. I was suprised that my 200lb sow was only 3 yrs old.

What happens if you get one and it says 0 years old? No it wasn't me. Will they get a ticket?
