Caesarfishinguytoo
What do we do with this guy?I want to keep him, only because he was a high draft pick. Didn't we have another WR (Hassan Jones) that suffered from the dropsies and didn't he go to a hypnotist to improve. And didn't it work? I know Jones never was a great WR but I do beleive he did start holding onto the ball and would make some fantastic catches. Maybe the hypnotist thing was just a urband legend I heard??What do you think? Keep him or dump him?Obvisiously, he doesn't have much trade value at this point and he is a 1st round pick so that seems out of the question.Let me know your thoughts
slotlimit
Just another Underwood! That's why I would rather have a free agent then a draft pick any day. With a free agent you most likely know what you're going to get. A draft pick may be good in college but you never truely know what you're gong to get in the NFL. VMS
I'd say keep him another year, and see if the rookie jitters are now gone. He was able to get himself open sporadically, and just needs to concentrate more on the ball as it's approaching. Not sure if he is a little gun-shy about getting hit pretty hard, but that MIGHT explain why some balls were dropped. I'd give it another year to see if he develops more. If anything, we could always get him to dip his hands in pine tar :-)Steve
bottomdweller
Keep him one more year and send him to chris carter to learn how to catch.

Bobby Bass
Package him up and trade him off, cut your loss. He had a year to learn how to catch last season. Carters camp will make you better but if you can't catch to start with. Running routes to make them look pretty and then drop the ball when it gets there is no improvement. Can you tell I am no fan of Williamson..
kaz2611
jake reed had problems catching the ball also and was diagnosed with some sort of vision problem then was able to get that adjusted and was able to perform better.I agree keep butterfingers williamson and see if he has overcome the droppsies after all its not like we got a boat load of talent at reciever i noticed joe horn was released by the saints whats your take on picking him up he is a veteran reciever who we sure could use but the downsides are his best years behind him and he has had a handful of onfield and off field antics dont think childress would deal with that he also would come at a price. slotlimit
Has posted earlier Horn is ready for the Old FOlks Home. How about Dante Stallworth instead? Drew Bennett? I would rather hve both of these then the reported Ted Ginn Jr. who they have sellected the Viks take with their first pick.
james_walleye
You have more too gain by keeping him around and seeing if he can overcome his problems. Its his 3rd year and cutting him wouldnt save any cap room. He had a solid start too last season and the drop in the last drive of the bears game sent him spriralling downward. I have a bad feeling hes just plain a bust but you have too keep him around this year.
Born2Fish
Drew Bennett signed with St.Louis. Kevin Curtis was in town but who knows where that will go.

koonie
We do not need another doped up wide reciever. Stallworth is one strike away from a big suspension. Besides, he is injury prone and highly over rated.
wally20
I didnt catch the hole story on KFAN this morning, but they were talking about Troy and his catching problems. Seems chili and other coaches, from watching films figure his problem has something to do with his helmet So if they get him a new helmet, he should be on this way to the pro bowl next year
united jigsticker
Yep. It's true. Alot of fisherpeople aren't very good in the open water months because of the tiller-handle on their outboard. It's throwing off their concentration. His helmet is bobbling around out there thus scurring his vision. 2 sizes smaller, a little lighter meshing on the facemask, and less padding and he'll be 1,500 yards +. Millions of dollars of video equiptment finally pays off to find that Troy has been wearing Matt Birk's helmet this whole time. Birk never noticed the first year cuz he was out for hernia surgery. Micheal Bennett had problems getting past the line of scrimmage because he was wearing Gary Anderson's old jock strap. Ain't that a shame.
united jigsticker
On second thought, maybe Troy should just skip the helmet all together???
