Which Planer Board

I'm looking to get into using a planer board this spring and was wondering what the popular brand to use is out there? I'd even be interested in using it at night with a light. Any suggestions?

If your talking inline boards I like the Offshore Brand. I like them because they are a bit bigger and handle waves better. I have the tattle tale flag system in mine (made up my own) and I like the way they work.

I agree the offshore board is the way to go.They are by far the best in rougher water.

I have a couple sets of Offshore boards, like them a lot. Church are popular too but I don't have much experience with them.

There's a lot to learn about running and reading boards, you're really biting off a lot to chew if you're hoping to use them effectively at night right away. Good luck.

get the offshore boards and put the church tackle releases on them if your going to use fireline.

My old man makes some up for marine general every year and I have even seen them in use in the metro area. They are a single board set-up. I wouldent think it would be to hard to get some led lights set-up on them.
