Let's see some furbearer mounts

I'll get us started. Here are three mounts of critters that my son and I have trapped.

WOW, the grey fox and cat are AWESOME.

I don't have any mounted yet, moving around in the bush requires everything to be mailed, they would not survive well being thrown out of small bush planes

My neighbor trapped this coyote in 2005, so I mounted it up for a little practice. Didn't turn out too bad.

Thanks guys, I really like the grey fox too. I have to put in up, in an unfinished bedroom, because I have a 1 year old golden retreiver that thinks she should be able to play with it. I'm thinking I'm going to build a glass case for it.

Dag, you really did a nice job on the yote. Did you do the turkey too? Do you do it for a living or hobby?

I had been doing taxidermy just as a hobby for the last year or so, but I just finished college so I may start bringing in some more work.

The turkey in my avatar I just finished for a buddy back home, my first time mounting a full strut turkey, and it actually turned out!

You need to go to your display perferences (click on My Home at the top of the screen) and you will see a few radio buttons at the bottom. Just turn on the appropriate button.

Leechman, I have a gray fox in my freezer from a month ago. Would you our your son be interested in mounting it in the same pose as the one in your picture. Let me know 320.248.8721. I am located in St Cloud.

SRF- I didn't mount that grey myself, I had a local taxidermist do it. He is one of a few people that I know that can do exceptional work. If you want his name, let me know and I'll e-mail it to you. This guy is pretty busy, so it will take about 14 months to get your mount back. It's worth it though. Let me know.
