Snowshoe

I've got a 1.75 liter of E&J that has been sitting in my liquor cabinet for almost a year now. Thinking of making some Snowshoe with it. Anyone made it with E&J? Got any other good recipes to get rid of it??

I beleive he is talking about Snowshoe Grog. Good stuff for ice fishing. It's a brandy and peppermint schnapps mixture. I would mix it 70% brandy and 30% schnapps.

Others make it with whiskey...50% whiskey with 50% peppermint schnapps...OR... 2/3 whiskey and 1/3 schnapps. Depends on your tastes.

Ah, the snowshoe grog! That stuff has been around for awhile...just stick with the Phillips recipe. I (kinda) remember driving around the ice on Green Lake with the AC on....Many moons ago.

I did pick up a pint not too long ago...the clerk had to wipe the dust off the bottle but he had one.
