Where did you guys get the holders the augers sit in? Like the rubber v clamps?

Sandman I think you can get those at gander or cabelas. they are made to mount on an atv rack, so they would need to be modified to fit your application.

They are ATV yokes sold by Ryan's racks. LB

Here's what I came up with. Right now it is just clamped on. I'll fasten it with U-bolts.

It looks like it would sway a bit. But it's solid. If it twists, I'll cut a few inches off the height.

That is a good design but the U-bolts will take to long to take off when your out on the lake.

the u bolts would be to attach the frame not the auger. Well done weeds. Those velcroe straps always give me a hard time but they are a good solid mount.

Yeah, I was wondering about those straps. One of 'em is in kind of a tight spot too. Originally I was just going to go with two of the "fin grip" deals, but wasn't sure I wanted the powerhead dangling off the end.

All I ask for is another 1/8" of space to put the strap back through. Hard enough without gloves on. The most solid mounting system I have seen yet though.

I actually moved the straps after I took the picture. Now they fasten half way down the auger handle. I didn't like it by the throttle there. I thought if it got to rattling, something might break. That doesn't solve the problem Tonkapat is talking about though. It actually puts one in a spot that's harder to get at it. They give you a real skinny slot for the velcro. Plus the velcro likes to fold over on it's self. With mitts on, I can see it being a bit challenging.

recall something that Dave Genz and Bro Broshall (sp) came up with. The rack off the back of the machine held the house and different rack on the front held the auger. Have not seen it in a while.

Well here is what I came up with for an auger mount. I can put 2-5gal buckets on the one side with my Igloo water cooler for minnows in it. On the otherside I could secure my Marcum however I may look for a milk create to secure so I can put it in that. I know this probably isn't going to work right for me but here it goes.
