Huskie
On another thread I asked and received advice on where to bring in venison for processing. The top ones seemed expensive to me. Has anyone done business with this place in Kimball? Seems to be about 30% cheaper (less expensive). Any thoughts? Thanks, might be worth the drive
JDM
We have been taking deer in there for years. They do a great job on the cutting and wrapping. Their "other" products like sausage, etc... are all pretty good. I have had better, but I have also had a lot worse from other places. I have never had anything that I didn't like. Once you start ordering extra's, your bill always goes up!

Borch
You could do a lot worse. Pretty good folks to deal with.
Huskie
We boned out all of the meat, with the help of a butcher friend, took only the best steaks out of the two deer and plan on making the rest into salami or summer sausage etc. and we always like some sticks with some spice to it, some breakfast sausage and a little burger, maybe brats also. We will bring in about 80 pounds and if they mix it close to 50/50, thats 170 lbs of treats. At some places 5 bucks a lb I will need a loan??? Thats the price of success sometimes I guess. bassNspear
Take it to Pinkes or Lang's Meat Market.
troutmaster
do it yourself, that way you know that your getting your own deer back and not somebody else's deer that they left in the sun for 3 days. p.s. and it's alot cheaper
