Finally Glassed Deer

I had to work late and went home for supper. On the way back to work I thought I would stop and glass some fields were I hunt.

Seven deer in a 1/2 acre patch. No kidding.

I am going to sit there tonight. Hopefully by 4 p.m. The wind it perfect for a ground blind in the tall grass by a tree. I am pretty pumped.

I hope they will come out in the same general area tonight. What are the odds of that?

I also have a spot that I have a drip bag and soem big time rubs.

The drip bag spot is a mile walk. Ick.

As long as you can get to the spot your talking about and getting your ground blind set up without the deer seeing you, you'll likely see deer.

A mile walk to the spot to hunt- no big deal. I put on at least 10 miles a day when hunting mulies- and that's in rough terrain, not the flatlander stuff around here. Look at it this way- a mile walk for a chance at the dude who made those rubs... totally worth it!!! Go get 'em, DHM. Good luck!
